Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust’s Community Engagement Team engages with a wide audience in order to challenge the stigma that people with mental health related issues often face.
Part of their work is to host community engagement days at five Trust sites on Saturdays across the summer and you can get involved as a volunteer wherever you are based. More than 1,000 people, including staff, users, carers and partners attend the events each year.
Getting involved will give you a chance to meet new people at the Trust, find out more about our services and you may even be able to contribute to the fun activities by turning your hobby or interest into an activity at the fun events.
Whether your private passion is baking, braiding, books or ball games there might be a way to get involved.
